Collingswood Theater Website
The mission of the Collingswood Community Theatre is to provide live entertainment, to offer opportunities for personal growth through use of creative talents in drama, music, art, and dance; to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the community; and to share emotions that enrich our perceptions of life and our understanding of others.
We are in our 5th year and anticipate being a part of the Community for many years to come. We stage 4 or 5 productions per year that reach an audience of approximately 3000 people from the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas.
We have staged small musical productions, such as Urinetown, the Musical and Pippin at the Grand Ballrooom. These shows feature our high school and college performers. We have staged dramas such as Steel Magnolias and The Odd Couple in the Ballroom at the Collingswood Community Center and we have staged large musical productions such as Music Man, Guys and Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie and South Pacific. Our All-Town Musical usually involves 100+ actors plus directors, crew and orchestra.
